Each frame is assigned and identified with a physical tag that transmits individual product information to the scanner. The database includes input of product attributes like brand, SKU number, model, color, manufacturer, price and more. Product images are also associated with each SKU to create a visual depiction for every frame you manage. Then on a quick walk through of your optical using the handheld device scan your frame boards, showcases and storage trays to capture your inventory. The handheld compiles a listing of all the tagged product during walk through indicating stock inventory in green. Missing products are visually highlighted in red. Products are easily identified on the scanner with the image and key data points associated with the frame. Confirmation of inventory is verified and synced to the cloud sharing the information with the eGrab database.
To add new products, product data is uploaded, tags are generated and added to stock inventory. Sold products require the tag to be deactivated so it can be subtracted from the active stock.
